"Two-gun Lou" is the greatest New York Yankee player Lou Gehrig. This signed black and white photograph shows Lou in character for the movie Rawhide, which premiered in 1938. Nicknamed "The Iron Horse", because he was the most powerful player. Gehrig played 2,130 consecutive games and may have moved into acting because he felt himself become sick with ALS. He considered himself one of the luckiest man on the earth. This one of the only autographed images from Gehrig in association with this movie, and represents one of the last autographs from this baseball great. It is surrounded by a white paper matte and an orange wooden frame with silver metal attached.

   

The picture measures approximately 12 1/4" wide, 15" high with frame and the photo is approximately 4 3/8" wide, 6 3/4" high.
