An authentic gelatin silver print of a portrait of New York Yankees‘ iconic center fielder, Joe DiMaggio. Professionally printed on glossy paper, This photograph portrays DiMaggio putting on his Yankees’ uniform at the locker room. This piece is in excellent condition, signed ‘Joe DiMaggio’ in blue ink on the top center, and is framed in a black and white marbled painted wooden frame.
DiMaggio played his entire MLB career with the New York Yankees (1936-1951) as a center fielder. He was a three time MVP winner and a 13-time All-Star. He is best known for his 56-game hitting streak in 1941, and his record still stands. He retired with 361 homeruns and a slugging percentage of .579. DiMaggio was inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame in 1955, and he died in 1999 due to complications with lung cancer.
