ITEM DESCRIPTION
This swiss landscape by F. Swatsley depicts a landscape featuring white buildings with a bell tower. There is a lake with boats in the middle ground, subliminal snow-covered mountains in the background, and dense forests with two female figures working on a path in the foreground. The piece has been professionally stretched and framed in an antique wooden frame. The painter's signature is on the lower right. The painting has some wear as to be expected by its date, with some mild chips and cracklings in the middle. Swatsley has done numerous similar landscape paintings during his career, among which this one is especially special with excellent brushwork and harmonious color blending. It's in overall good condition, and on its original base, with the artist's signature.
