This institution, which began as a Jesuit college in 1588 and later became a renowned preparatory school until its closure in 1978, is now a museum and cultural center, known as the birthplace of the Mexican muralism movement.
The poster features a detailed diagram of flower parts, reflecting the educational focus of San Ildefonso and the vibrant colors characteristic of Mexican artwork. Despite its vintage patina, the ink colors remain vivid, preserving the poster's original charm.
