This First Edition James Bond Model is one of the first submariners ever, made almost 65 years ago in January, 1958! Waterproof up to 100M, this men’s timepiece features a stainless steel case that measures approximately 40mm (case to crown) x 13mm (high). The case is topped with a beautiful aged blue insert stainless steel coin-edge bezel. It has a superb black dial with luminous non-numerical hour markers and matching luminous silver-style hands. This fine watch also has a signed Rolex stainless steel crown and caseback. This Automatic Oyster Perpetual Movement powered watch is complete with an aftermarket dark brown Genuine Crocodile Leather Two-Piece Strap with honey brown stitching, as well as a stainless steel Tang Buckle. The watch strap measures approximately 19mm in (wide) and can fit up to a 7-inch size wrist. In today’s market, it is virtually impossible to come by this circa 1958 watch in Excellent, Very Fine Overall condition such as this one.
