Description

  A mid-century sculpture piece by Willem DeGroot. As an artist, DeGroot uses found objects to make eclectic and interesting work. This work balances geometric forms with an organic shape and flow. Industrial in its make, the rectangular forms are a rustic metallic material anchored in a textured white stone base. Made at the pinnacle of the Brutalist art style (1950s-1960s) this piece features block forms and raw material to create a beautiful architectural look.
