Item Description:
This is a colorful oil serigraph print in a woodblock style done by H. Calpini in a smooth wooden frame. This piece portrays a male and female ballerina, dressed in classic ballet attire dancing gestures. A male figure is seen in vibrant shades of yellow and ochre, while the female figure in green and pastel pink tones. The subjects are decked out in jewelry proper for the occasion. Signed at the bottom right in black, 'H. Calpini' on the the plate.
This open edition print is in excellent condition. The frame shows very little to no wear. No cracks, dings, nicks, or significant scratching in the wood or glass. Nor is there any discoloration of the painted design. Clean under the glass. There is some light wear to the paper protective back. Wire hanging cord on rear.
