Item Description
This La Phare pocket watch has a beautifully engraved
hunting case in 18 Karat Rose Gold. It has a particularly fine vintage Swiss 18K Gold minute repeater with a hidden painted enamel erotic automated scene, circa 1890’s. The case has a hidden compartment that opens to reveal a very well executed boudoir scene of two lovers pursuing their passion in time with the watch chimes. The case is fully engraved with repeater slide in the band. The piece is in magnificent original and mint condition with an eggnog color enamel dial. The dial is an old fashioned design with black painted Arabic numerous and indexes. The piece features a second sub dial at 9 o'clock.
