This is a fine hunting case, quarter repeating Pocket Watch with Chronograph, full calendar, and moon phase. The piece has a heavy and large, quarter repeater hunting case Pocket Watch with chronograph, full calendar and moon phase. The gold domed case is polished 14K Rose Gold with glazed movement. There is a pusher for the chronograph feature at 2 o'clock, and a pusher for the repeating mechanism at 6 o'clock. The Dial is enamel with radial Arabic hours, auxiliary seconds, moon phase, windows for the weekday and month, a subsidiary dial for date, and blued spade hands. The Movement is frosted and gilt 0.50 plate movement. It is inscribed, "3944". The movement is polished and has beveled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, governor for repetition, and screw compensation balance. The piece is stamped and engraved inside of the case, “Kalender-uhr repetition heures quarts, Chronographe Geneve 1896 Heinz Hornitz” and initialed “hH” at the back.
