This unique photo is #205 out of a 5000 count limited edition set of the Detroit Tiger's Ty Cobb from circa 1915. The set was created by Baseball Antiquities. It is a black and white photo with a thick black border and a white background. A white matte and a black metal frame surround it. It is signed "Ty Cobb, 1915 205/5000" on the bottom left corner under the photo, written in pencil. There are some small taped rips on the bottom right corner and a larger one next to the top left corner.
Ty Cobb was a Center Fielder listed in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936. And is quoted by the Baseball Hall of Fame to be greatest baseball player of all time as well as someone who always strived and often out-thought his opponents.
