The Burnished American Silver Eagle undergoes a unique production process that results in different visuals for the finished coin when compared to the proof and Brilliant Uncirculated versions of the coin. After the blanks are struck from a strip of silver, each one is cleaned and polished before the being struck with the American Silver Eagle die.

Burnished blanks are placed in large spinning drums that clean and polish the coins using a polishing element. Today, the US Mint uses special-made 6 MM balls to clean and polish the blank. The goal of this step is to help remove any scratches, rough spots, and blemishes that might exist on the surface. From here, the coins are struck once with the design die and immediately packaged after coining.

On the obverse side of 2020-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle coins is the iconic Walking Liberty design. Created in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, it features Liberty in left-profile relief with her right hand reaching out for the sun as her left-hand carries branches of oak and laurel.

The reverse face of the 2020 Burnished American Silver Eagle Coin comes with the heraldic eagle of the United States. The heraldic eagle of the United States has been redesigned numerous times since its 1792 debut. Created in 1986 by John Mercanti, this version separates itself from previous iterations with the use of a triangular cluster of 13 stars above the head of the eagle.

These 2020-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins are available to you with a W mintmark on the reverse field beneath the olive branch in the eagles talon. All coins are packaged inside of individual capsules and housed inside of blue US Mint boxes. Each coin comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the mint as well.
