This is a piece of film memorabilia honoring iconic American Actress, Bette Davis. This piece consists of an autograph on a 2’’ x 4’’ piece of paper reading ‘Bette Davis’ signed in black ink on the center; and a vintage silver gelatin print of an elegant portrait of the actress wearing a long, white dress with lace and appliqués, with her signature short blonde hair and big eyes with curled eyelashes. This piece is in overall good condition; the photograph is perfect while the autograph is faded. It is framed with a green mat and an aluminum frame.
Ruth Elizabeth "Bette" Davis (1908 – 1989) was an American actress with a career spanning more than 50 years and 100 acting credits. She was noted for playing unsympathetic, sardonic characters, and was famous for her performances in a range of film genres, from contemporary crime melodramas to historical films, suspense horror, and occasional comedies, although her greater successes were in romantic dramas. A recipient of two Academy Awards, she was the first thespian to accrue ten nominations.
