CLIFF AYERS SIGNED LETTER TO BILL, EMERALD RECORDS, 1952

ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Extremely rare, one of a kind, signed letter from Clifford Ostermeyer, American singer, native from Fort Wayne, IN. He started singing in Europe during World War II in musicals and also with big bands. After the war he went to New York and appeared in the last phase of Vaudville on the Leows circuit.

Emerald Records is a current record label operated by Cliff Ayers Ostermyer. In this letter, Cliff Ayers is writing to Bill, a musician, about their production plan for the upcoming records.

The letter reads as follows:
 Dear Bill,

We have re-recorded your song again, and have come to the conclusion that the vocal group is the best. The band record did not have the feeling this record has, and this type will sell records. I wish I could have realized this at first as I wasted a lot of money on the orchestra.

The record will be out next week. They are already pressed but the song on the other side of vinyl couldn't be released till then.
