ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This is a piece of sports memorabilia consisting of a 3’’ x 4.5’’ index card autographed by former NFL player, Jerry Rice. The index card is signed ‘Jerry Rice’ in black ink. The index card is framed altogether with an original Sports Illustrated cover from the January 30th 1989 issue, the cover features a color portrait of Rice in the field, wearing his San Francisco 49ers and holding the football in his arms. This item is in excellent condition and is framed with double layer red and white mats and a black plastic frame.
Jerry Lee Rice Sr. (born1962) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for 20 seasons, primarily with the San Francisco 49ers. He played college football at Mississippi Valley State and was selected by the 49ers in the first round of the 1985 NFL Draft, 16th overall, where he spent 16 seasons. Rice was also a member of the Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks. Due to his numerous records, accomplishments, and accolades, he is widely regarded as the greatest wide receiver in NFL history, and one of the greatest players in NFL history.
