Item Description
This oil painting by revered American "Impressionist" George Oberteuffer (1878-1940) depicts a serene view, overlooking the harbor and surrounding houses in Boothbay, Maine. The "en plein air" painting captures the essence of the landscape with quick, decisive brush strokes and bold colors. The painting is signed "Oberteuffer" at the bottom right. The artwork comes in a frame and on the back is a label from its original dealer, James Graham & Sons.
