An original handwritten Henry Longfellow exert from his famous poem "The Day is Done." The poem written and signed by Henry Longfellow and is accompanied by a colored picture print of him as a collectible. The piece comes with a free Certification of Authenticity. This original autographic material was examined by Charles Hamilton Autographs Inc. before framing and is guaranteed to be quinine. Together with the artwork, it was carefully selected for dramatic interest and decorative beauty, them custom -matted and handsomely framed by an expert craftsman. Henry Longfellow (1807-1882) is a famous American educator and poet. His works such as Evangeline and Hiawatha were widely read by the public and published on many different platforms. His poems were popular throughout the English-speaking world, and they were widely translated, making him the most famous American of his day. His admirers included Abraham Lincoln, Charles Dickens and Walt Whitman. 

The poem “The Day Is Done” was written in 1844. When Longfellow wrote "The Day is Done," he was a young man, in his late 30's, but he was already famous for writing simple, heartfelt poems. So while he's introducing other people's poems, he's also using "The Day is Done" to describe and defend his own poetic style.
