 Item Description

This is a gorgeous 19th century circa 1875 painting that depicts three women standing. All three women are wearing buns. The woman on the left is speaking to the woman in the middle, who is wearing a peasant dress and holding a basket on her left arm. The woman on the right is facing away from the others and holding something in her right hand. This painting is attributed to Ellice Endicott and the artist's signature and the year is on the bottom right, in red paint and block lettering. It is made with a medium of oil paint on canvas in a Modernist style with American influence. 
 
 
The painting is surrounded by a black wooden frame with a gold inner border. The item, with the frame included, measures approximately 33.25" inches wide, 42.25" inches high. Alone, the painting measures approximately 28.5" inches wide and 37" inches in height.
