This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information when you use castle streaming services and download the CastleTV android application for a glitch-free experience of K-Drama, Bollywood regional & more. 1. Data Collection: Principle of Minimization
To improve your viewing experience, Castle collects only the data that is needed and stays away from anything private.. We never aggregate superfluous personal data to avoid many of the all too common risks that undermine users’ trust. That includes some limited usage data (types of material you watch, search queries for K-dramas or Bollywood blockbusters or regional films, streaming time, offline download selections) to offer customized recommendations that are relevant to Indian consumers. To optimize players’ experience for well-used Android handsets in the context of India, where mobile network bandwidth is particularly poor outside of big cities and metropolitan areas, we also gather some basic device telemetry (such as model and OS version as well as network type).
2. Data Usage & Cookie Policy
Importantly, Castle never requires user registration, so we never receive your name, address, phone number, payment information or any other data that could be used to track you. Pursuant to the data localization requirements of the DPDP Principles 2026, all information collected is protected by SSL encryption and securely retained on servers located in India. We retain data logs only for the minimum length of time required by law and implement technical controls such as access limitations, regular security evaluations, and data backup processes. We will immediately inform the affected users and India’s Data Protection Board of such data breach within 72 hours, as stipulated in the DPDP Rules 2026. We disclose only as necessary Indian law, court–ordered or regulatory disclosure requirements; we do not rent, sell or share voluntarily provided your Personal Information with other people or nonaffiliated companies for marketing purposes.
4. Policy Updates & Contact Information
This policy could be adjusted to reflect the DPDP Rules 2026 changes, new laws, or enhancements we make on our platform. Users will be notified of any such substantial updates via a prominent in-app pop-up, and such updates will also appear in the section "Settings > Legal" together with an indication of the revision date. If you continue to use Castle after an update, then you have agreed to the new terms.
