Terms of Service - Castle

These Terms of Service ("Terms"), and any additional terms specifically regarding Castle's streaming services, such as its curated content collection, K-drama streaming features and downloadable Android app (the "Features"), govern access to and use of the Features that are accessible in India. You confirm to have read, understood and accept these Terms together with all relevant Indian laws, including (but not limited to) the Copyright Act 1957, the Information Technology Act 2000, DPDP Rules 2026, IT Rules 2021 and IAMAI self-regulatory guiding principles for OTT platforms that govern your use of Castle’s service whether you're streaming K-dramas to Bollywood movies to regional favourites.

1. Grant of Limited License

Castle grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use for your personal, non-commercial use only. With this license you can stream some library titles and download them, including popular K-dramas, Bollywood movies, local theaters and on-demand web series. You may not host public screenings, including but not limited to charging admission, providing access (whether through the embedded player or any other manner) to streaming video for individuals that you do not personally know, share your Castle credentials with anyone else without prior written authorization from Castle and post any of the content, listings or information on other websites, display any of these content elsewhere publicly.

2. Content Usage Restrictions & Prohibited Conduct

No materials obtained through Castle may be stored, edited, reproduced, screened, or saved digitally except for use with your account/in your account by you. The content is created on the Indian domain of upscpathshala.com, and it is both Indian and Internationally Protected by copyright laws; Wrongful use of this copyrighted material may result in Legal action under Indian Copyright Laws. Additional, you confirm that you will use Castle in accordance with all applicable laws; using a modified device or software, hacking servers or bypassing any security measures applied to it, uploading content that violates the law (including but not limited to: content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race), and circumventing geo-blocking access controls.

3. Service Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Castle does not represent or warrant, either expressly or implied, any of its services is operable “as is” and “as available.” While we strive to give our users non-stop K-drama, all the time, there may be times when a weakness in the system makes an interruption necessary and we cannot guarantee that service will not be interrupted, or that there won’t be errors on our website — or that any content contained therein will ever be restored. Our policy will not cover any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our service or your inability to use it — including but not limited to those resulting from outages, inaccessible material or device incompatibility.

4. Term Updates & Governing Law

Any changes to these terms may be made at any time, and written notification must be provided. Any significant changes will be announced to users through an in-app pop-up, and the revised Terms will show up in the "Settings > Legal" section along with a modification date.If you use Castle for 30 days after being notified of a change to the terms, you accept the new terms. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian Law and any disputes relating to these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in your country.
