The bars have no date mark, but do have the Zodiac year noted on the obverse of the assay card.

All 1 oz PAMP Suisse Lunar Rat Silver Bars are housed inside of sealed assay card packages. The bars have a red assay card that offers oriental border designs in the corners on the obverse, along with the printed phrase 2020 The Lunar Calendar Series Rat. On the reverse side of the card are printed details that include the weight, purity, metal content, and individual serial number for the bar.

On the obverse of 1 oz PAMP Suisse Lunar Rat Silver Bars is the image of one rat standing on the ledge of a stone wall. The rat stands on its hind legs with an ancient coin in its front paws. The coin has four Chinese symbols on its surface with a square hole in the center.
