Cornelius Wynkoop is a style bowl that was named after the Dutch blacksmith. Many companies produced these style reproductions, most notably Graff, Washbourne & Dunn, which makes this piece by Gorham particularly unique.

This piece is made of sterling silver by the Gorham company. It is marked "sterling" with the Gorham Company marks. It is also marked "Cornelius Wynkoop" for the style, "New York" for the location, and "Reproduction 1726." It includes a serial number as well. This bowl is sleek and elegant and polished well. It can be used for a variety of purposes such as to hold various items or be placed on display. It is stamped 1726 however it is a reproduction and the date is circa 1940s. It is in excellent condition for its age.
