1860 BOSTON "THE LOVE OF LOVE BLISS" WRITTEN LETTER TO HUSBAND - $3K APPRAISAL VALUE!  


ITEM DESCRIPTION:
One authentic letter from a woman to her husband in very early 1860. The wife feels concerned that her spouse might be a member of the clergy. In the letter, the wife mentions how much she and his mother seem to miss him, worry about his well-being, and reassure him that God is with him. She mentions receiving a letter from him, and this letter appears to be her response. She expresses care and worry as well as some measure of sympathy. It's written in her own handwriting. He received it in Boston, and she addressed it to "The Love of Love bliss." The letter is really sentimental and in pristine condition. over a 165-year-old letter with significant historical significance. 
The letter reads as follows:
Quite pleasant to day 
S St George Feb 17th, 1860 
Dear Husband
I again attempt to acquaint you with the offering at home. We are all well to preasent (sic) and may you enjoy the same blessing. I received you (sic) letter Da. Jan 22th (sic) the which caused of mixture of gay and great. I was happy to hear from you. Likewise that you was well, but when you wrote of your hardships that you had fast through there was a hang of sorrow that noted acrost (sic) my breast but I feel to leave all in the hands of God desiring that he will rule all things for his giving and our best gave (sic). We ought to be thankful then we are yet alive and have our health; health is a great blessing. William I have good news to write you, it is this, we have had a preascious (sic) revival of Religion in our Church this winter and it increased dayle (sic). There has been ten Baptize (sic) this last week and the world looked very prosperous last evening 13 arose for preys (sic) backsliders are returning confessing there (sic) falts (sic) and the Church appears to feel her. The unconverted yesterday the meeting house was filled with communicants and yet there was many absent, I often think of you and wished you were here to bring in your tise (sic) and offering but I hope you will have the preasentes (sic) of your Saviour all the you are absent. 
I hope you will not forget to prey (sic) for the advancement of the Redeamers (sic) kingdom in the world and likewise your partner that she may be humble. While she feels to reguyset (sic) in this gluneary (sic) world. This request I never made before to you but I feel a need of the preys of all that has asecess (sic) to the throne of grease (sic). I have receive 75-Dot from you within a few days and shall take up that note the first opportunity. I hope you will come have from Bason (sic) if you can for I feel sometimes forsaken but I hope not quite. A word from mother. Mother is in good health but she wants to see her son very much. She says she feels grateful to your presenter (sic) that you have been frustrated from death while so many has been a victim to his call she says you must come home, if you {...} to Boston she thinks you are {...} very much at home. Desires you to remember her in your supplications and assumes you that she never forgets you. Mother says its time you was at home hurting things to nights. She sends her best respects to you. Henry Mr. Den sends love. William if you go back from Boston I want you to write when you receive this excuse the erregularity (sic) of this letter if you please.
