ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This is a vintage color print on canvas of former Boston Red Sox baseball player, Ted Williams. This beautiful print was printed on canvas, giving a beautiful texture to William’s portrait. The portrait shows Williams in his Red Sox white uniform holding the bat moments after hitting the ball; and is signed ‘Ted Williams’ on the bottom left corner with a silver ink felt tip marker. This item is in perfect condition and is professionally framed with a premium light varnished wooden frame.
Theodore Samuel Williams (1918-2002) was an American professional baseball player and manager. He played his entire 19-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career, primarily as a left fielder, for the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960; his career was interrupted by military service during World War II and the Korean War. Nicknamed "Teddy Ballgame", "The Kid", "The Splendid Splinter", and "The Thumper", Williams is regarded as one of the greatest hitters in baseball history.
