ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This original lithograph was originally a painting by the artist Flip Amato. He painted the famous Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, and Duke Snider, side by side with each of their bats in swinging position, clearly the greatest center fielders of the three great New York teams from the 1950s and 60s. Mays, Mantle, and Snider all signed this lithograph. 
The signatures sit across each of their bodies in blue ink and come with a PSA certificate of authenticity as well as a certificate issued by APR57 Gallery AND a free insurance appraisal. A unique and rare autographed lithograph such as this one is hard to come by in this condition. In perfect condition professionally matted and sitting in a beautiful wooden frame, this piece is well composed. Each player is portrayed with beautifully accurate detail in a composition that celebrates each of their respective careers. A piece that is in this condition signed by all three players is extremely rare and difficult to find. Any New York baseball fan would love this to hang in their living room, den, or sports bar.
On the left you have Willie Mays who played for the New York Giants. Mays is considered by many the greatest all around player with regard to his batting ability, speed, and fielding ability. In the middle we see Mickey Mantle who was a centerfielder for the New York Yankees and won the triple crown. Mantle was considered the greatest combination of power and speed in baseball history only slowing down after injuries. On the left you have Duke Snider who was the center fielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, also called the Brooklyn Bums, who won the world series in 1955 and 1959. Of these three legends, only Willie Mays remains alive at the age of 91 years old.
