ITEM DESCRIPTION
This is an original autographed lithograph of a portrait of Joe ‘The Yankee Clipper’ DiMaggio posing in his New York Yankees uniform. DiMaggio played his entire MLB career with the New York Yankees (1936-1951) as a center fielder. He was a three time MVP winner and a 13-time All-Star. He is best known for his 56-game hitting streak in 1941, and his record still stands. He retired with 361 homeruns and a slugging percentage of .579. DiMaggio was inducted into baseball’s Hall of Fame in 1955, and he died in 1999 due to complications with lung cancer.
This piece in in excellent condition, signed ‘Joe DiMaggio’ with a black ink felt-tip pen on the center of the picture; and comes with an official certificate of authenticity from Score Board Inc.
