This original black and white photograph captures one of the most famous couples to ever exist, Joe Dimaggio and Marilyn Monroe, referred to by many as “The Yankee Clipper and The Blonde Bombshell”. This incredibly rare photograph was taken on January 14, 1954, on the night of their wedding. The couple is portrayed happy and dressed in a very elegant fashion in a hallway, right after their nuptials. This is one of the very few photographs that were taken of the short-lived couple on their wedding night, and is possibly one of the only photographs that exist of them together with Joe Dimaggio smoking a cigarette! This rare Silver Gelatin Print has been professionally matted and framed with a silver plate. The plate suggests this piece of memorabilia was made after the death on Marilyn Monroe in 1962. The frame measures approximately 15" (wide) x 21" (high).
