ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Original 1st printing 15 x 22" concert poster for Bob Dylan and His Band appearing in a benefit concert for Hale House for Children at Irving Plaza in New York, NY (one of the smallest venues in the city; 900 capacity) on August 12th 1997. Designed by Gans, printed on thick index card stock with a glossy finish the poster is in near mint condition.
Folk-rock singer-songwriter Bob Dylan signed his first recording contract in 1961, and he emerged as one of the most and influential voices in American popular music. Dylan has continued to tour and release new studio albums, including Together Through Life (2009), Tempest (2012), Shadows in the Night (2015) and Fallen Angels (2016). The legendary singer-songwriter has received Grammy, Academy and Golden Globe awards, as well as the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Nobel Prize for Literature.
