Vintage Silver Plated Spice Tower (3.3 oz)
Total Height: 9 in, Lid Height: 3.5 in, Base Height: 6 in, Base Diameter: 2 in, Circumference: 6.28 in
Traditionally a religious object, this spice tower is very unique and can be used for varying purposes. The base is repoussé with intricate designs of swirls and scrolls. The bottom edge is also ornate. The piece does come apart as the center is hollow is filled with dried cloves for smelling. The lid is topped with a flag that turns. There are no defining marks. The piece looks like it dates circa late 1800s and appears to be of European (possibly German) make and design.
