This vintage clarinet under the stencil Trianon is a wonderful piece for collectors and beginner/intermediate musicians! In the early 1900’s, many clarinet companies produced clarinets under various names or pseudonyms, and these instruments are called “stencil clarinets.” This clarinet was obtained from a professional jazz saxophonist and appears to possibly be manufactured by Malerne or Fontaine in the mid-20th century. With a timeless dark brown wooden body and matte silver keywork, it is in playing condition and includes a stock mouthpiece with ligature and cover. It does not include a case but will be packaged with plenty of protection.
