The pandemic later forced the West Point Mint to reduce staffing for employee safety and then close for a week in April 2020. The Mint State 69 grade indicates the coins have full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. Those flaws are limited in nature to minuscule contact marks or hairlines and must be located outside of the primary focal points of the coin.

The included Early Release label from the NGC denotes the arrival of the coins for grading. This certification from the NGC indicates the coins were received for grading within 30 days of their release from the Philadelphia Mint.
