The Proof Silver Eagle is now produced by the West Point Mint and features a W mint mark on the reverse field just below the heraldic eagle. Originally, the Proof Silver Eagle was struck by the San Francisco Mint from 1986 to 1992 with an S mint mark. From 1993 to 2000, the Proof Silver Eagle was produced by the Philadelphia Mint with a P mint mark.
